Daylight Savings Time is Here!
Going to see it tonight.
UPDATE: Stuff got blowed up real good, and John McClaine does in fact, kick ass.
How about a review…..but not as long as Aces, holy cow!
“Stuff got blowed up real good” is a good enough review for me. I likes it when shit gets rearranged with a a lot of smoke and loud bangs.
I was hooked when I saw the trailer.
Of course I was hooked when I saw the trailer for “Shooter” too but that was because the book was one of my favorites. It was a shame that they turned it into a Liberal crapfest.
I try to write the executive summary kinda reviews. I’m a bottom line kinda guy.
ace’s review is pretty good, I didn’t find anything to nit pick about. Part of my weakness is remembering the first one very well, not so much 2 & 3. I was sorry to see them PG-13 it down, takes some of the fun out of it for me. The villain in this one isn’t terribly villanous, and McClain seems to take it as “either I’m gonna killa that guy or I’ll die trying”. He isn’t mad, at least he doesn’t show it. He does giggle a lot when he wins a shoot out or a fight, and I like that, and the action is pretty much non-stop. I’ve seen so much computer nonsense in films for 25 years now that suspension of disbelief isn’t a real challenge anymore.
Besides, I just want to be entertained, and I was.
I just realized I’ve never seen any of these except the first one. It was a lot of fun–Argyle, what an actor. I guess I should have a Die Hard weekend.
I saw the Harry Potter flick this w/e. Dumbledore packs impressive wand-fu.
