One a day, until Monday.

A lot of you have seen this.  If you haven’t, you’ll be impressed with Lizzie Palmer’s video.

I certainly was.

That was heartbreaking. I sobbed.

But my nephew Josh just returned safely from Iraq and will be getting married next month. He’s 20. Saw him yesterday for the first time and I hanged on him a little and told him “welcome home and thank you.”

Next time you see Josh tell him ol’ BrewFan says, “Thank you for serving.”

Thanks for posting this Dave and everything else in your series. I swear if I run into any of John Edward’s bunch Monday (my brother (who is a real Vietnam vet) and I are going to the Brewers game) you’re going to have to raise some bail money.

I’ve seen it so many times, and I tear up every time.

Any chance that this can be aired nationaly as by a campaign like video?

“paid for by everyone who cares, (sottovoce)financedbytheelect(indidvidual)campaignwiththeassistanceofeveryoneelsewhodeservestoservethesebraveindividuals”

It would be nice if campaigns aired stuff like this rather than their lame ass attempts at humor.

I would run for president just so I could raise the money for everyone to see this on national television, then I would bow out.

That made me cry and made me lots more humble.

Yep. I understand your reaction, and I share it.
