Second scope Monday at 6:30.
Hope we fix the damn thing this time around. I’m starting to feel like Dennis Weaver.
If you don’t know what I mean, you are young and very likely quite lovely.
If you do know what I mean, you have matured gracefully, and carry a remarkable glow of loveliness into this 5 year period before you reach middle-age. Maybe 6 years, depending on the miles.
Either way you all have a better left knee than me.
MINOR UPDATE: I was joking with the surgeon that he could use the same holes in my knee he made back in December. He just laughed in response.
But this morning I see I still only have 3 holes in my knee.
Funny guy.
Godspeed, pardner.
Put some paraffin on it.
Dennis who?
thankies.
at least I know the drill now.
Good luck, Dave. Need any amazing martial arts vids to watch during recovery?
I still have that knee cooler thingy, also.
you got a hacksaw?
kiddin. thanks geoff
I didn’t know what you meant.
Well, I hope and pray it does get better. Is it from an old sports injury?
Nah, I think it’s just that the warranty ran out. I had it scoped in December but I may have torn it somewhere else.
Thanks Deb!
My mother has had both knees scoped and replaced w/in the last 5 years. You have all of my sympathy!
Wait…is that 6:30 a.m.?
Doctors are evil.
Hope the procedure goes well.
It took them two tries to get my right knee right.
It’s better than ever now. So, it’ll be worth it if they can get it right this time.
mesa, just trimmin meniscus?
thanks Slubs. yeah, am.
Draw a little smiley-face on your knee-cap. Surgeons love that stuff.
last time I pissed off a surgeon was before my vasectomy.
that is not a good feeling. dude was actually yelling at me.
Update: back home already, the doc did find another tear and repaired it, so anyway I had a reason for all the ouchiness.
Resting with ice now.
Glad it was over so quickly. Now for some serious convalescing.
yessir, and thanks
Glad to hear it went well.
And yes, the second time. I tore my MCL and they must not have seen all the tearing on the meniscus the first time in.
My knee hurts just thinking about it. My knee blew out sideways. It was pretty nasty. All fixed now, though.
