Landscaping update September 27, 2006

Posted by daveintexas in Pool Blogging.

We are pretty much done.

Remember this one?

No?  I’ll jog your memory.

That’s right.  Filthy holes of mud where you die!

When’s the party?

4. BrewFan - September 28, 2006

Outstanding stonework.

5. compos mentis - September 28, 2006

Congratulations Dave. Here’s to it bringing you and your family much joy. Didn’t you also add a connecting jacuzzi?

6. lauraw - September 28, 2006

*making appointment to have hunchback waxed*

Beautiful Dave. Look at that cute little palm tree.

Nothing like a hot tub on a frosty night with a frosty beer. Enjoy!

8. Feisty - September 28, 2006

That’s the bomb, dad. Now you get to take care of the pool and the landscaping! May as well just quit the blog now, pops.

Now you get to take care of the pool and the landscaping!

Dave got one of those automatic pool cleanin’ thingies. We had one that used to prowl around our pool eating dirt. Every now and then it would surface like a dolphin.

We called it “Little Geek”, what movie is that from?

11. John - September 28, 2006

That is so cool. Dave, congratulations.

When’s the party?

We called it “Little Geek”, what movie is that from?

That would be The Abyss.

Very nice pool Dave!

I usually just lurk, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to ‘Name That Movie’!

Compos, the round thing in the first pic, right center, is the spa.

I say first 95 degree weekend in June is the partay. lauraw, you wax that hump? That’s gotta smart. We do have a little geek (and darn it, I knew that but I didn’t beat Kyrie to the punch). Ah well.

I’m so jealous it hurts!

15. Elzbth - October 1, 2006

Gorgeous. Is your “little geek” cleaning its little heart out?

16. Dave in Texas - October 1, 2006

I think I shall spend some time in the spa this afternoon.

Little Geek is busier than a 3-legged cat trying to bury a stinky on an ice-covered pond. We have lots of trees, and it’s windy today.

Pretty cement pond you got there.

You should probably empty it out though, because you’ll need a place to deposit your tears after this weekend’s (ahem) “game”.

I suspect you’ll be able to fill it back up quite easily.
