So suck it, Cahleeforneeya!

About a year ago I switched retail providers.  Texas now allows competition for energy consumers.  The company I use generates about 50% of their power using windmills.

Way the hell out in West Texas where it doesn’t screw up the view of the yacht club.

Friend of mine is associate publisher for North American Windpower, a trade magazine devoted to the technologies, economics, and politics of wind power. He came by a couple of weeks ago, and is very bullish on wind power in the states. His magazine is growing like crazy, reflecting increased numbers of subscribers and advertisers.

Looks like serious wind power is finally here.
