Congratulations–I bet you’ll love having that pool to relax in.

Another delay? Maybe you should just get the hose and begin filling the hole with water. Afterwards, you could tie a swing rope to one of your trees. You could then swing wildly through the air before splashing down in your own private swimmin’ hole. Very Norman Rockwell.

Hey Dave, us old doods gotta stick together. That’s why I’m suggesting that you should have called this post “Diggin’ It“.
Then you appeal to those youngsters like Mrs. Peel (who only *looks* young), Elzbth and Lipstick.

Elzbth, me and the guy who built the house and the plumber and the pool builder worked out a deal this evening.

Sounds like Dave is “adjusting his style.” Might be scary.

6. elzbth - July 13, 2006

Dave, did you have your gun and your knife lying on the table while you were “working out the deal”?

7. Dave in Texas - July 13, 2006

elzbth, goodness no. We’re all friendly, just working out details.

Leave the sewer line running through the pool, change that section of the line to a clear plastic, and issue all guests with goggles so they can enjoy the view…

Oh, I’ve just disgusted myself. But I’m still hitting “post”.

Interesting. We could put the light right underneath. When people ask, we’ll say it’s a “water feature”.

Horizontal lava lamp.

When we had our pool dug in Vegas they hit caliche when they got down about 4 feet.
They said it was going to cost a bunch more to dig through it so we opted for a 4′ deep “Lap Pool”.

Yours doesn’t look that deep either or is it just the angle?
