It's a losing proposition.

There is only one reason Abbas remains president of the Palestinian (what?  what the hell is it? Authority?  government with a small "g"?  Nobody knows what to even call them), uh, Palestinians.

He's the only son of a bitch over there we'll talk to.

We got tough and it worked.  We're about to go soft, and that won't work.

The diplomats expressed "grave concern that the Palestinian government has so far failed to commit itself to the principles of nonviolence, recognition of Israel and the acceptance of previous agreements" to move toward peace. They expressed willingness to restore aid once the Palestinian government accepted those principles.

No shit?  I had not heard that.

The allies also said they had "concern about the delivery of humanitarian assistance, economic life, social cohesion and Palestinian institutions," all of which have been deteriorating since the aid suspension.

Bet they got a few concerns about whose hands are in the till too.  Suha, are you comfortable sweetness?  Need a pool boy?

I learn something new every day… she is 4 years younger than me.

Well, the neutrality of this entry is disputed.  She might turn out to be 57.

Meanwhile, back home, the auto-contrarian Democrats are perfectly happy to let this one be.

Which now that I think about it, ain't all that bad.

They certainly never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

The more billions they get, the more they regress.

You know what Karol says over at Alarming News,

“Quick, let’s give these people a state”!

At least this will hammer into their minds that what they do has international rammifications. They’re not going to get away with terrorism no matter how much they whine (and, oh, how they whine!).
