I heard that the gunman was “asian-looking” – Engineer? Stress of college life?

The few blogs I visit had the good taste to avoid the political implicatons of this horrid thing.

My heart and my prayers go out to the families, friends, students and faculty.. those whose live were torn by this terrible thing.

“The few blogs I visit had the good taste to avoid the political implicatons of this horrid thing.”

Seattle Slough made some brilliant political points, though, eh? Good lord.

Phinn just called him an assmunch. I like that.

A liberal is a liberal first. Seattle is doing what the whole media is doing right now, co-opting a tragedy to forward an agenda. It’s asinine, tasteless, classless. Not to mention his cowardice inferring racism and xenophobia and dragging his strawman arguments about the war into it, but not having the balls to just say it outright.

Phinn’s right. Seattle is a disturbed person who finds his endless bullshit contrariness to be some form of entertainment. That’s not just an assmunch, that’s a person to be pitied.

If you can find it in you. Me, I don’t care a bit about his problems.

Yeah, I think a person would have to have masochistic tendencies to keep trolling some place where they are so roundly abused.

He probably sees it at some sort of mission, like Muigeo did, to help us see the light. But we keep shooting his arguments down, (and insulting him, too).

It’s strange.

7. Dave in Texas - April 17, 2007

Well, yeah, he does see it as some kind of a mission. He’s not arguing in good faith, and not receptive to the response, it’s really just electronic “vandalism”. He pretends to want to engage, but it’s a sham, he doesn’t, or else he would engage.

Muirgeo was more trollish – he just wanted to take a dump there.

8. Nice Deb - April 17, 2007

No, I really think that Muirgeo wanted to enlighten us to the horrors of global warming. Of course he was an insulting prick about it, but he definitely seemed to be on a mission. I believe he even admitted as much.

But you’re right that he wanted to take a dump there, too. He took many dumps, there.

Ah well, who can understand the mind of a troll?

Glad you guys alerted me to SS’s inanity. Would have hated to miss a chance to get my licks in.

You boys are doing God’s work, you know that?

11. Slublog - April 17, 2007

Nice job on the takedown, gentlemen.

12. daveintexas - April 17, 2007

Did you just call that guy a ‘prick’ Nice Deb?

Such language! I find it strangely, endearing.
